Friday, February 25th I was invited to Milan Prêt-à-Porter, from the newest brand Lolapeita Barcelona, specializing in t-shirts, maxi and minidresses. In their booth, I had the chance to see the spring/ summer 2011 collection and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The brand was established by the creations of the artist Maria Lola Martinez, later nicknamed Lolapeita, because of his rebellious and unconventional art. The basic message of the advertising campaign of the new collection, in fact, "sex will save the world",is an irreverent message. Here are some photos taken inside the booth. With me in the picture there is also my friend Cassandra. We really enjoyed browsing  and pose wearing some clothing of the new collection, which I will show you in the next post! What do you think?

Ocean colour scene

The photo shoot for Vogue UK March has definitely a tribal touch, all on an ocean background. The bright colors of the landscape are taken from clothing designers like Marc Jacobs and Salvatore Ferragamo. It's known that the fluorescent colors are a must for the mini or maxi dress that we are going to wear in the new season, so this service is certainly a source of inspiration. Also interesting is the hairstyle that we already have seen last season: the side braid. :) Do you like it?

Striped Sunday

Here are some photos taken yesterday afternoon with my boyfriend.  I found the sweater that I wear in the closet after years that I didn't use it, and because stripes are back in fashion, I decided to use it again:) What do you think about this outfit?

Kate Moss is the beautiful star of the Spring/Summer ad campaign for Longchamp. The entire service is inspired by the '70s, also reinterpreted thanks to Kate's haircut that is softer and more vintage inspired.

New York Fashion Week: Gary Graham

The design of the latest collection of Gary Graham is certainly very young and fresh. The models paraded on the catwalk with very wearable outfit featuring colored Converse and sports socks. Other themes of the show are undoubtedly the sweaters worn in layers with batik prints and handmade knits reminiscent of Ukrainian shepherds. One thing that I really enjoyed is that some garnments have appeared more than once but presented in different colors or with different combinations to show the versatility of them. What do you think? What is your favorite outfit?

Il design dell'ultima collezione di Gary Graham è sicuramente molto giovanile e leggero. Sulla passerella hanno sfilato modelle con outfit decisamente portabili caratterizzati da Converse colorate e calze sportive morbide. Altri temi della sfilata sono sicuramente i maglioni portati a strati con stampe batik e i tricot fatti a mano che ricordano i pastori ucraini. Una cosa che mi è piaciuta molto della sfilata di Graham è che alcuni capi sono apparsi più di una volta ma presentati in diversi colori o con diversi abbinamenti in modo da mostrare la versatilità degli stessi. Voi cosa ne pensate? Qual'è il vostro outfit preferito?

Hair how to: how to style curly hair

Do you have curly hair and you don't know how to eliminate the frizz? So this post is for you:) I have curly hair and I've tried all methods to make them defined and not frizzy, and I think that the method I discuss in this post is the best ever! Let's start:

Avete i capelli ricci e non sapete come eliminare l'effetto crespo? Allora questo post fa per voi :) Avendo i capelli ricci ho provato tutti i metodi per renderli definiti e non crespi e penso che quello che vi illustrerò in questo post sia il migliore in assoluto! Cominciamo:

You will need:

1. Shampoo (I use the Herbal Essences for curly hair)

2. Balsamo (I use the Herbal Essences for split ends)

3. Mousse for curly hair (I use that of L'Oreal)

4. Restructuring mask (I use a professional one)

Avete bisogno di:

1. Shampoo (io uso quello di Herbal Essences per capelli ricci)

2. Balsamo (io uso quello di Herbal Essences per doppie punte)

3. Spuma per ricci (io uso quella della l'Oreal)

4. Maschera ristrutturante (io ne uso una professionale che mi ha consigliato la parrucchiera)

Apply the restructuring nask on the hair from root to tip. Let sit for fifteen minutes and then rinse with warm water.

Applicate la maschera ristrutturante sui capelli dalla radice alla punte. Lasciate agire un quarto d'ora e poi risciacquate con acqua tiepida.

Apply conditioner on the hair from root to tip. Disentangling comb all the knots and then rinse thoroughly with warm water.

Applicate il balsamo sui capelli dalla radice alle punte. Pettinateli districando tutti i nodi e poi risciacquate abbondantemente con acqua tiepida.

Apply 1 or 2 knobs of foam on the hair after they are buffered with a towel and have eliminated the excess water. Apply the mousse rubbing the curls with your hands and shaping the curls with your fingers if necessary.

Applicate 1 o 2 noci di spuma sui capelli dopo averli tamponati con un asciugamano ed aver eliminato l'acqua in eccesso. A testa in giù applica la mousse stropicciando i ricci con le mani e modellando i ricci con le dita se necessario.

Dry your hair upside down to get more volume

Asciugate i capelli a testa in giù per ottenere maggiore volume

And here is your hairstyle over! The curls are defined and the hair have volume!

Ed ecco la vostra acconciatura finita! I ricci sono definiti e asciugandoli a testa in giù i capelli hanno acquistato volume!

Candice Swanepoel for Vogue Italia

The beautiful Candice Swanepoel, one of the angels of Victoria Secrets, posed for the February issue of Vogue Italy. The service is really wonderful, inspired by the 60's with the fluffy hair style typical of those years and brightly colored clothing, especially yellow and orange. The accessories are often gold, creating an overall very pleasant. What do you think?

La bellissima Candice Swanepoel, uno degli angeli di Victoria Secrets, ha posato per il numero di febbraio di Vogue Italia. Il servizio è veramente meraviglioso, ispirato agli anni 60 con le pettinature vaporose tipiche di quegli anni e con abiti dai colori sgargianti, soprattutto giallo e arancio. Gli accessori invece sono spesso d'oro creando un effetto d'insieme molto piacevole. Che ne pensate?
