July looks

How quickly time goes by! July is already over and we're back with my usual summary of the outfits that I've shown you this month. What's your favorite?

Come passa velocemente il tempo! Anche luglio è già finito e rieccoci con il mio solito riassunto degli outfit che vi ho mostrato questo mese. Qual'è il vostro preferito?

Casual chic

In this period I feel calm and in harmony with myself. After a difficult and stressful winter for me, this time in my life seems almost perfect. I like my new job very much, with Ste everything is perfect and the stress is no longer a word that belongs to me. I hope that this period last! As for the look of today I decided to combine a casual outfit, made ​​up of colored shorts and tops, with black details that make it more elegant. Indeed blacks blazer and heels are a must that every woman should have in the closet to make every outfit more chic. What do you think?

In questo periodo mi sento serena e in armonia con me stessa. Dopo un inverno per me difficile e stressante, questo periodo della mia vita mi sembra quasi perfetto. Il mio nuovo lavoro mi piace molto, con Ste va tutto a perfezione e lo stress non è più una parola che mi appartiene. Spero che questo periodo duri! Per quanto riguarda il look di oggi ho deciso di abbinare ad un outfit casual, composto da shorts e top colorati, dei dettagli in black che lo rendano più elegante. In effetti blazer e tacchi neri sono un must che ogni donna deve possedere nell'armadio per rendere ogni outfit più chic. Che ne pensate?

Budapest: day 3

The third day in Budapest, after visiting the St. Stephen curch, we spent an afternoon relaxing at the beautiful Margaret Island, where we rented a toy car-shaped rickshaw and we had fun exploring the island. I enjoyed the musical fountain, the Japanese garden and its pond with water lilies, seemed to be in a painting by Monet :)

Il terzo giorno a Budapest dopo aver visitato la chiesa di Santo Stefano, abbiamo passato un pomeriggio rilassante alla splendida Isola Margherita, dove abbiamo affittato un risciò a forma di macchinina e ci siamo divertiti a esplorare l'isola. Ho apprezzato molto la fontana musicale, il giardino giapponese e il suo laghetto con le ninfee, sembrava di essere in un quadro di Monet :) 

Budapest: day 2

The second day spent in Budapest was the most intense of the three. The morning after a generous breakfast at the hotel, we saw the permanent circus of Budapest. I'm a great lover of the circus, I think it's an amazing form of art to keep. This show was the best I have attended, I had goose bumps. My favorite numbers were the one with the big cats of Africa and the trapeze artists, but also all the other artists were very good. After the show we spent an afternoon having fun like children to the amusement park that has one of the oldest roller coasters in Europe. In the evening we decided to do a mini-cruise on the Danube, where I managed to see the city at sunset until it slowly was all lit up and has gained more charm. After dinner we went to the ice bar, which was right in front of our hotel. I enjoyed it but the ice glass slipped from my hand and my cocktail spilled on the ground :( Despite the little mishap, however, is definitely an experience to try :)

Il secondo giorno passato a Budapest è stato il più intenso dei tre. La mattina, dopo un'abbondante colazione in hotel, abbiamo assistito ad uno spettacolo del circo permanente di Budapest. Io sono una grande amante del circo, penso che sia una straordinaria forma d'arte da perseverare. Questo spettacolo è stato il migliore a cui ho assistito, avevo la pelle d'oca. I miei numeri preferiti sono stati quello con i felini africani e quello dei trapezisti, ma anche tutti gli altri artisti erano bravissimi. Dopo lo spettacolo abbiamo passato un pomeriggio a divertirci come bimbi al parco divertimenti che ha una delle montagne russe più antiche d'Europa.  La sera abbiamo deciso di fare una mini-crociera sul Danubio dove sono riuscita ad ammirare la città al tramonto finchè piano piano si è tutta illuminata ed ha acquistato ancora più fascino. Dopo cena siamo andati al bar di ghiaccio, che si trovava proprio di fronte al nostro hotel. Mi sono divertita ma mi è scivolato il bicchiere di ghiaccio dalla mano e si è rovesciato tutto il cocktail per terra :( Nonostante la piccola disavventura però è un'esperienza sicuramente da provare :) 

No Name Fashion Show

Before showing you the pictures of the second day spent in Budapest, here those taken at the No Name Fashion Show, organized by Businessinfashion.com two days after the BINF Fashion Show in which I was invited last June 25. In the wonderful location of the MiB in Piazza Affari, 11 talents have brought their creations on the catwalk, which I liked very much; it's impossible to select a collection that I've enjoyed more than the others! For the occasion I wore a yellow dress with ruffles paired with black accessories. What do you think?

Prima di mostrarvi le foto del secondo giorno passato a Budapest, ecco quelle scattate al No Name Fashion Show, organizzato da Businessinfashion.com due giorni dopo il BINF Fashion Show a cui sono stata invitata lo scorso 25 giugno. Nella splendida location del MiB di Piazza Affari, 11 talenti emergenti hanno portato in passerella le loro creazioni, che mi sono piaciute tutte moltissimo; è impossibile scegliere una collezione che mi sia piaciuta più delle altre! Per l'occasione ho indossato un abito giallo con rouches abbinato ad accessori neri. Che ne pensate?

Budapest: day 1

After leaving our luggage at the hotel, Ste and I decided to spend the afternoon walking at Castle Hill, the old part of the town. But first we refreshed with a huge ice cream at Café Gerbaud, one of Budapest's historic cafés. From the hill we were able to admire a breathtaking panorama that with the sunset has become even more wonderful. The Fishermen's Bastion is something magical, it was very romantic walking hand in hand with Ste with violin players in the background. In the evening we returned to Pest, and we dined at a restaurant near Vaci utca where our hotel is. For a few euros we had a great meal! And this is one of the many reasons that made me fall in love with Budapest :)

Dopo aver lasciato le valigie in hotel, io e Ste abbiamo deciso di trascorrere il primo pomeriggio a Budapest passeggiando alla Collina del Castello, la parte antica della città. Prima però ci siamo rifocillati con un gelato enorme al Café Gerbaud, uno dei Caffè storici di Budapest. Dalla collina siamo riusciti ad ammirare uno stupendo panorama che arrivato il tramonto è diventato ancora più meraviglioso. Il Bastione dei Pescatori poi è qualcosa di magico, è stato romanticissimo passeggiare mano nella mano con Ste con i suonatori di violino come sottofondo. La sera siamo tornati a Pest e abbiamo cenato in un ristorantino vicino a Vaci Utca dove alloggiavamo. Per pochissimi euro abbiamo mangiato benissimo! E questo è uno dei tanti motivi che mi hanno fatto innamorare di Budapest :)

On my way to Budapest

My mysterious destination? Budapest! I came home last night and already I miss it! The city is wonderful, if you've never been there I recommend it! In the next post I'll show you all the photos and I'll tell you a bit of how this "Paris of the East" has entered my heart.

La mia misteriosa destinazione? Budapest! Sono tornata a casa ieri sera e già mi manca! La città è meravigliosa, se non ci siete ancora stati ve la consiglio! Nei prossimi post vi mostro tutte le foto e cercherò di raccontarvi un po' di come questa "Parigi dell'Est" mi sia entrata nel cuore.

A weekend away

For birthdays and special occasions Ste loves give me short weekend trips as in this case for my birthday. Unfortunately I'll be away only two and a half days, because my new job doesn't include holidays, but for me it's more than enough to take a break from everyday life. I leave in the early afternoon, I'm excited! :) In the picture some items I'll bring with me. Guess where I go? I give you a clue: my destination is a beautiful european capital city! :)

Per compleanni e occasioni speciali il regalo che Ste ama farmi maggiormente (e che io apprezzo di più), è  un viaggio o un breve weekend da qualche parte, come in questo caso per il mio compleanno. Purtroppo però starò via solo due giorni e mezzo, perchè il mio nuovo lavoro non prevede ferie, ma per me è più che sufficiente per fare una pausa dalla quotidianità. Parto nel primo pomeriggio, sono emozionata!! :) Nella foto alcuni oggetti che porterò con me. Indovinate dove vado? Vi do un indizio: la mia meta è una splendida capitale europea! :)

Birthday girl

As promised, here is the look I wore the night of my birthday. As I mentioned earlier is very simple, but there's nothing more elegant than a little black dress and high heels. The dinner went very well, is wonderful to celebrate the own birthday with the people you love!

Come promesso, ecco il look che ho indossato la sera del mio compleanno. Come vi ho già anticipato  è molto semplice, ma non c'è niente di più elegante di un tubino nero e tacchi alti. La cena è andata benissimo. è stupendo festeggiare il proprio compleanno con le persone a cui vuoi bene!

New hair for my birthday

Today is my twenty first birthday! For the occasion, yesterday morning I went to the hairdresser to straighten and lighten a little my hair, but in the end I fell in love with the fishtail braid seen in a catalog and I decided to let me do it. You can see the result in the last photo! I love it, I must learn to make it by myself! I really like changing style and hair color, a few years ago I was even blonde! What do you think? Do you prefer straight or curly?

PS. For tonight's dinner with friends and family I've chosen a simple but elegant outfit, I'll show you in the next post!

Oggi è il mio ventunesimo compleanno! Per l'occasione ieri mattina sono andata dalla parrucchiera per fare la piega e schiarire un po' i capelli; alla fine però mi sono innamorata della treccia a lisca di pesce vista in un catalogo e ho deciso di farmela fare. Potete vedere il risultato nell'ultima foto! La adoro, devo assolutamente imparare a farmela da sola! Mi piace molto cambiare stile e colore dei capelli; per un periodo qualche anno fa sono stata addirittura bionda! Che ne pensate? Mi preferite liscia o riccia?

PS. Per la cena con amici e parenti di stasera ho scelto un outfit semplice ma elegante, ve lo mostrerò nel prossimo post!
