Here we are with the last post about Berlin Fashion Week. This season was the one in which I attended more shows and events, but also the one with the collections that I liked the most. It’s very difficult to choose my favorite, each designer has represented his idea in a unique and original way with a truly extraordinary mastery. The designers of this post, including one of men’s fashion, have all their own unique vision. There are those who presented a funny and colorful woman, some very elegant with goddess clothes and those who opted for a sporty and eccentric style. As always let me know in the comments your favorite collection!
The characteristics that distinguish the works of Rieke Common, designer of Maison Common, are colored prints. In this collection, in fact, we find a beautiful combination of bright colors, almost neon, with some neutral or pastel outfits. Even the accessories in the collection are absolutely noteworthy. In fact, every model wore a printed hat, even if the real highlight of the show were the wonderful floral headpiecies combined with wonderful dream dresses. Also in this show I noticed the use of huge bows like in the Anja Gockel show, a trend to keep an eye on for next summer.
Ivanman’s collection was really interesting. The designer has created a collection presenting classic and rather basic garments with a subtle irony. The name of the garment in question is written on each piece, so we can see the words “Jacke” on the jackets, “Sakko” on the blazers, accompanied by the number of the product in question. These printed texts, however, help to create a pleasant contrast of colors, also present in the chosen combinations and accessories.
The collection of Lana Mueller is the typical dream collection, with fluctuating and superfeminine clothes that never leaves me indifferent. Elements that distinguish the show are transparencies, volants and pastel colors. The represented woman is romantic, elegant with beautiful evening dresses perfect for the warm summer evenings. The classic floral prints in the day looks make the collection even more feminine.
The Yooneeque show is the most innovative show I’ve ever seen. In fact, the outfits were not created by any designer but by an artificial intelligence. This software has collected the training data of some athletes creating unique sports outfits. The vision of the creator of the brand Anna Franziska is in fact the combination of fashion and technology, offering this service to anyone who wants a unique sport outfit created specifically for him based on their training performance, in any sport. I find it a truly original innovative idea. I also loved the final result that was shown on the catwalk with sporty but colorful and modern outfits.
