Today’s post is about my stay at Hotel Bachmair Weissach on the weekend I spent at Tegernsee (discover more on my Instgram: @olga_federico). The hotel is a five star hotel established in 1862 with a wellness area and a wonderful park to relax during sunny days. The two days spent there were really wonderful, but let’s see in detail what I think about the hotel.
Our room was a Tegernseer Junior Suite with terrace, walk-in closet and a living room area. I loved the decor in neutral colors and the wonderful view of the park from the terrace. It was wonderful just to sit there on evenings, drinking something from the minibar.
The hotel is furnished in Alpin style with much use of wood and deer antlers as a decoration on the walls. The atmosphere is very cozy. The decor of the bar is simply wonderful with a big fireplace in the middle of the room and I also loved the interior of the patio where you have breakfast and of the Japanese restaurant.
The park is the thing that I loved the most in the hotel with its stream that created a super relaxing atmosphere. We spent there all morning on Saturday taking advantage of the beautiful day, just lying on the hammock. The whole park is in fact equipped with hammocks and deck chairs to relax.
The wellness area included a really wonderful indoor pool and a smaller external one. The spa also features a Finnish sauna, tepidarium, turkish bath and the possibility to perform treatments of all kinds.
I would definitely recommend staying in this hotel if you plan a visit at Tegrnsee, one of the most beautiful lakes in Bavaria. The hotel is the perfect base to explore the surrounding area and even offers a free shuttle to the most important destinations of the lake. I hope this post has been helpful!
