January and February are usually the coldest months of the year here in Germany, with sub-zero temperatures and heavy snowfalls. When it’s so cold, the temptation is to stay warm as much as possible, even at the cost of making the outfit less fashionable. This year, however, there are some very popular trends that are also suitable for sub-zero temperatures, to keep warm even in the most rigid months without sacrificing the beauty of an outfit.
This is perhaps one of the main trends of this season and I personally love it. There is nothing warmer to wear than a puffer jacket that doesn’t let the cold air go through and is perfect for freezing temperatures. I found a very nice model on the Planet Sports website, an online shop perfect for those looking for sportswear from the most famous brands like Timberland (hier), The North Face (hier) or New Balance (hier)
Another very popular trend this winter is hiking boots used as everyday footwear. Obviously this type of shoes is perfect for winter as well as making each outfit much more unique. My favorites are these (hier) from The North Face, which have a neutral color that you can easily combine with your outfits.
This trend is among the most worn from different seasons now and I already have a nice collection of oversized scarves and blanket scarves. I think that there is no better thing to go out wrapped in these scarves when it is very cold outside. Choose a captivating patterns to make your outfit even more interesting.
This is also a trend that was among the most worn last year and obviously is one of my favorites. This year you can dare with bright colors and unique patterns and with the right layering you can show off your sweater even alone, without covering it with a coat.
This trend is one of the most interesting this year. Instead of wearing a jacket or coat, wrap a sweater around your shoulders. The outfit is even betterif the sweater you are wearing and the one on your shoulders are the same color.
